(Norfolk Saw Services) was established in 1960 as a saw sharpening service to the local timber industries and whilst we offer so much more now, saw sharpening is still an important and thriving part of our business today.

We have been selling woodworking machinery and power tools in Norwich since the early 1970's to DIY, trade and Industry. Our showroom is a magnet for woodworking enthusiasts from all over East Anglia. Our products are very competitively priced with many on going special offers.

As well as woodworking machinery and power tools we also carry large stocks of consumables and accessories to compliment our product range. Meet the team Initially working along his father Michael Hindle sharpening saw blades, Paul developed the company’s sales. The introduction of woodwork machinery and power tools has developed and grown over the years and now accounts for over 75% of the company’s annual turnover.
Paul now manages the trade accounts along with buying and selling from our hub in Norwich.
 
Mark Hindle (Partner) - Joining the family business only a few years later, Mark also worked in the thriving saw sharpening company and still to this day is responsible for the smooth running of our busy workshops.
When joining the company back in the late 80's Mark brought with him a wealth of knowledge. His previous apprenticeship and job in wood machining only added to the company’s ability to offer that bit extra when it came to after sales service.
Now Mark manages a whole host of roles including industrial sales of woodwork machinery ,tooling consulting and managing some of the company’s key accounts.
 

Tom Hindle - Paul's eldest son Tom has been with the company full time since 2006. Tom is responsible for the businesses woodwork machinery and power tool sales and having attended many training courses specialises in some of the premium brands such as Festool, Mafell and Tormek.
Tom also looks after the company marketing including the website, social media, email campaigns, advertising and other promotional activities including demonstration events and trade shows.



Jon Stansfield - Jon has been with NSS since the early 2000's. His day to day job is collecting and delivery saw blades and goods across East Anglia to our account customers. Jon also handles the local machinery deliveries. 






Kane Hindle - Paul's youngest son Kane operates numerous machines covering a multitude of tasks including: Large TCT saw blades, Planer blades, Chipper Knives, HSS Saw blades and Re-tipping. Kane has been with NSS since leaving school starting initially part time and moving into full time. 




Steve Larkins - Steve joined NSS in 2016 and works in sales. Steve has a great understanding for the products and services that we offer. He has experiance in similar industries and has helped bring new ideas and contacts to our business.     



  Josie Hindle - Josie has been our accounts manager since 2000, she is responsable for accounts payable, payroll and the day to day running of the office.
